Each year a weekend is set aside to celebrate the life of David. A golf and fishing tournament is held to raise money for the David Garnes Memorial Scholarship fund. This fund was set up in order to assist children who wish to pursue a Christian education, but who may otherwise not have the means. Donations can be made to the memorial fund through Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 Winslow Rd., Ashland KY 41102. |
